super nice sporty.
Good as a Sportster® looks, there’s more to the legend. The original was light-footed and powerful, with no respect for any machine lined up along side it. The XL™ 1200S never lets you forget that. Just look at the low bars and blacked-out metal. Even better, try the throttle. The engine doesn’t feel like anything off an assembly line. We gave it a complete redesign last year, with higher compression, dual-spark-plug heads, hotter cams and a single-fire ignition. You get a ride to match. Cartridge-type damping on the fork. Gas reservoir shocks in back. Adjustable pre-load, compression and rebound. Triple disc brakes. Sticky performance tires. Can there be a factory hot rod?
